Everyday Minerals is dedicated to the protection and preservation our world, and has embarked on a mission to ensure that our environment – and all of its creatures large and small – flourishes for generations to come.
When the natural habitat of a wild animal comes to mind, the true expanse of this surrounded is likely to be underestimated. This habitat can include everything from the environment’s native plants, shelter, cover, weather conditions, and other animals that share the land. Everyday Minerals strives to protect and manage local lands - such as Austin’s Hill Country - ensuring a mutually beneficial environment for the plants, animals and us.
How do we do this, you ask? In addition to providing supplemental food for local animals, Everyday Minerals continually investigates ways to provide shelter for them, from external elements such as threatening weather conditions and predators.
OUR MISSION
Protecting animal habitats is simply not enough. In addition to our acquisition of untouched Hill Country land, we are actively promoting the importance of environmental research, conservation and education.
The drought in central Texas has been extremely hard on the land over the past year, and has led to uncontrollable wildfires that have ravaged the local ecosystem. The need for Wilderness Protection has never been this crucial. What once was miles of green, flourishing land is now nothing but charred ash. Our initiatives are actively working to guarantee that tragic circumstances like this will be prevented in the future.
10% of all Everyday Minerals sales go towards the acquisition and conservation of Austin Hill Country for Wilderness Preservation. To date, Everyday Minerals has rescued 28 acres of land, with an ultimate goal of rescuing 1,000 acres under Wilderness Protection by 2025.
