I’m thrilled to tell all of you about a brand new lippie I’ve created especially for the amazing website Vital Juice Daily - presenting “Vital Juicy”!
Vital Juice Daily is one of my favorite websites and email newsletters... it offers up freshly squeezed info and tips for living healthy in every sense of the word. From beauty, fitness, and nutrition to overall wellness and living green, VJD is so fab because it features different editions for different cities (including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago) that highlight cool things going on locally, as well as an “Everywhere” edition and a “Moms” edition.
I adore this site because of the wealth of amazing info it provides, and how cute is their slogan? “Imagine getting a tip every morning from your healthiest, always in-the-know friend.”
So cool!
Everyday Minerals has teamed up with Vital Juice Daily to create a special, limited edition lippie for their “August Deal” that the Vital Juice team has named “Vital Juicy” - it’s a beautiful, exclusive soft rosy pink shade that is perfect for summer smooching!
This pretty shade was so much fun for me to create, as I worked closely with the great gals at Vital Juice in creating a color that they absolutely adore.
This is always the fun part for me!!
The lippie (as always) is free of parabens, fragrances, and dyes and contains Evening Primrose Oil, Perilla Seed Oil, and Linseed Oil while Murumuru Butter - which is sourced from Brazil - hydrates and softens.
Simply enter VITAL50 as a coupon code at checkout to redeem your discount.
After you’ve scooped up your Vital Juicy shade and puckered up, be sure to take a look at Vital Juice Daily’s piece on Everyday Minerals... check it out here.
This was such a fun collaboration, I love doing things like this!
I hope you like this brand new, luscious lippie - and don’t mis out on this deal because it definitely won’t last :)
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Vital Juice Daily yet, be sure to sign up for the newsletter - it’s one of my favorite reads each day. Enjoy!!!
FUN TASK:
If you could create the perfect makeup look by using my new Vital Juicy lippie shade along with an Everyday Minerals eye shadow and blush, what dreamy combination would you come up with?
I’ll send Vital Juicy to some of my favorite readers, so be sure to leave your dream makeup shade trio in the comments section :)

Eyes: a wash of Champagne lucent on the lids to give a nice shimmer and sparkle. Sweep some Little Black Dress on the upper lash line and whatever is left on the brush, sweep some on the lower lash line. Mascara on the lashes to make the eyes pop some more.
Cheeks: SoCal on the cheeks to give a subtle kiss of color and a soft dab of Champagne lucent powder on the apples of cheeks.
Lips: Vital Juicy

on the eyes:
OASIS! what i love about oasis is it can work in 2 ways, maybe even 3.. what i do is add some primer and pack it on the lid with the edm shadow brush.. with no blending.. it retains all its gold lovely sparkle as it sticks to the primer with no fall out... then as i go to the crease i use the dome blending brush to swipe back and forth, this makes the OASIS turn more of a darker terracotta color in the crease while i buff away some of the yellow gold sparkle. it is perfect and is such a lovely transition with only one shadow!! I usually add a highlighter of pearl beige or floating feathers and line with wet IN THE GARDEN
On the cheeks: it has to be NEW CAR SMELL.. the perfect compliment to oasis and your new lippie!

The pretty Lippie
Eyeliner, which I use before the shadow. I dislike hard lines, you see = Well Being
Lid shadow = Wildflowers
Crease and lower lash line = Exhale
Highlight = the Original Snooze Bar (I still hoard my little sample jar of it)
Cheeks = Chit Chat (I still hoard my small jar of it) (I'm one of the lucky few)

Summer Stroll blush - this is my favorite because it has the prettiest pink sheen to it when applied
Leaps and Bounds all over the lid - I love the strong gold tones that pop out when applying this color, I also like the green because it goes well with my green eyes
Cypress in the crease- another great shade for green eyes, love this colors, and it would go well with Leaps and Bounds because it also has gold tones to it. I would also apply this wet as eyeliner to finish off my look.

I'll use Salon Fun for my cheeks as it provides healthy and natural glow from the inside.
Then to reflect the story, I'll use green and yellow series for the eyes. I'll use Postcards Eyeliner for liner, Cardamom from crease to brow, Butterfly Kisses at inner lid and blend it with Leaps & Bounds at the outer lid.

Eyes: Hot chocolate on lid with In the Garden in crease. (regular black eye liner and mascara)
Cheeks: Apple
Notice I'm missing a fabulous lip color? I think Vital Juicy would be perfect.

Combination inspirted by the Vital Juice logo. This may be too "springy" (I love springy colours), but the name and colour Vital Juice literally screams CITRUS and SPRING to me! I can't help but let the inner spring bloom.

My Perfect Makeup Shade Trio:
Lips : Vital Juicy - love pinks (and exotic, moisturizing oils and butters)
Cheeks: Nick Nack - soft, natural, understated (and pink)
Eyes: I'm Keeping Your CDs - Wow! Play up those eyes!

For cheeks, I'd use THEME PARK, which is a rich pink without seeming too "bubble gum pink" if that makes sense.
I think Vital Juicy would be awesome with this combo!

I think that this lippie will look good with natural and simple make-up. It should be vital and juicy
My perfect trio:
Lips- Vital Juicy Lippie
Eyes- Sea Horse (and maybe a little bit of Diary -on lower and upper lashline - to define a little bit our eyes) ; and of course- masacara
Cheeks- Time Share. It's so beautiful colour! I think that it will suit perfectly!
This make-up will be perfect for everyday, especially in the summer

This nuance reminds me a famous spot by Sofia Coppola for Dior, exactly this one:
I find the match of the nuances of this spot, perfect for the Vital Juicy Lippie!
And for a Make up inspired by this Lippie I'm very undecided about 2 ideas the Spot gaves to me, so I will tell you both
1) First Make up: Day Look
This would be a soft day look, natural and rosy.
EYES
For the eyes, I think this look would be soft enough but with a good graduation of colours:
I'd use LIP LOCK on the entire lid, blended a bit on the upper part.
Then PARASAIL on the crease, blended a bit with Lip Lock and till the brow bones. I'd add also a little bit of this eyeshadow in the inner part of the eye.
This would give a luminous look to the entire eye area.
CHEEKS
Just a Touch of SoCo blush. This wonderful colour would give to the cheeks a healthy touch, really feminine!
2) Second Make-up: Evening/Night-Look
This look would be definite, with a gradient from pink to purple. On this look, the Vital Juicy would give to the lips a soft touch, perfect with a darker shade on the eye.
EYES
I'd use BALLET SLIPPERS on the inner half part of the lid.
In the centre I'd use ROCK ANATHEM, blended a bit with ballet slippers.
On the external part of the eye and in the crease, to intensify the graduation of the colours, I'd use MONSOON
Then I'll blend together this three colour to create a gradient look.
I'll complete the look with a thin line of BLACK EYELINER and FLOATING FEATHERS to illuminare the brow bone!
CHEEKS
Something Soft like SOFT TOUCH would be the perfect finish for this make up (that is too pigmented to use a blush too coloured)
That's all
sorry for the long post but I can't choose when I have more ideas
xoxo

EYES: Vintage demim all over the lid, blending with wish you were you here in the crease, also bring it down to bottom lash using a smudge brush.
CHEEKS: choose a nice neutral blush like soft touch to compliment the eye makeup. use wet sand to highlight.
LIPS: vital juicy with a dab of wet sand.

I'd sweep Driftwood all over the lid, before applying Dreaming Dandy into the crease, then using a wet liner brush to apply a little more Dreaming Dandy as an eyeliner. A sweep of Champagne Lucent would highlight my brow bones, and the tops of my cheekbones.
Sprung blush would be fluffed onto the apples of my cheeks, with a finish of Luminizing Sunlight powder to reflect the warm, bright summer sun!
The whole would be colourful in a natural, earthy way, leaving some attention for the pretty pinks in the Vital Juicy lipstick. :-)

The cheeks Nick Nack would be perfect and not take away the cute pink from the Lippie.
