The hot summer months are dwindling down, and to keep your skin looking sunkissed and bronzed well into fall, I am going to introduce you to what I’ve discovered is the perfect bronzing duo.
Before I do, though, I want to share with you one of my all-time favorite editorial spreads that serves as my aesthetic inspiration behind a beautiful bronze look. The gorgeous supermodel Daria Werbowy was shot by legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier in a shoot titled “Indian Summer” for the June 2009 issue of “Vogue UK.”
How amazing are these shots?

I adore the earthy, bohemian and natural vibe of these shots, and Daria’s golden skin is radiant.
Now, for my fantastic bronzing discovery! Pairing my Soft Bronzer with Raw Sugar blush will give you the most amazing, natural glow. You have to try it :)
Soft Bronzer is ideal for fair to light complexions, and is really popular. It is translucent, which allows you to apply it to your entire face for a healthy glow. It’s also used as a contour product for lighter skin. Its properties catch the light and give you a dewy glow.
When Soft Bronzer is paired with Raw Sugar blush, something magical happens.
Raw Sugar has loads of golden sparkles that illuminates your cheekbones like a trail of diamonds.
Have any of you tried this pairing? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
FUN TASK:
Speaking of unexpectedly perfect duos, are there any two Everyday Minerals products you’ve tried together that are just amazing with one another? I’d love to hear which duos you’re loving right now so I can try them out on my own!
I will send Raw Sugar blush and Soft Bronzer to a few of my faves :)

xoxoxo,
Carina

MMM soft bronzer looks great
! I love Everyday Minerals because they're natural, cover greatly and give beautiful finish. I also love them because I can mix them easily and make "my own" cosmetics
My greatest "product" is mix of base in intensive and in original glow. Really, You should try it! This mixture gives great coverage and this beautiful, dewy look
I love it!
I also like to apply Happiness Bronzer with blushes, today I was "wearing" bronzer with SoCo (by the way- I'm totally in love with this blush) and it helps to "sculpt" my face
I apply bronzer under my cheekbones, and blush on the apples of my cheeks
It gives me this girly, fresh look
In the summer I usually wear light, bright colors
Few weeks ago I discovered great combination which is perfect for the summer time, it's so juicy and gorgeous
So I apply Dandelions eyeshadow all over my lid (a little bit more in the inner corner and on the brow bone). This shade is great as a base colour, but you should apply it carefully because too much won't look natural. Later I apply perfect minty colour- Pressed Olive- in the outer corner. And blend everything together
I think that this combination looks great, and this duo- Dandelions and Pressed Olive is lovely, they are perfect together :-) I hope you like it and you will try my ideas :-)

I love the combination of bronzer with a healthy flush of pink - a light dusting of Summer Bronzer Pressed goes beautifully with SoCo Blush!

I also love to combine lilac eyeshadows Bedtime story and Veranda.
Oh and when on vacation I want to fake that I had at least some tan so I use the Soft bronzer because it's so tender to the pale skin plus Champagne as a blush/highlighter.

a really gorgeous combination i think looks stunning is pairing leaps and bounds with marvel denim eyeshadow:
the leaps and bounds all over eyelid, and use the marvel denim in the crease to create a beautiful smokey eye, also using the eyeliner brush wet the marvel denim and use as an eyeliner.
also another nice eye combo would butterfly kisses with smokey eyeliner in the crease, the yellow of the eyeshadow goes really nice with a nice soft smokey of this eyeliner.
for the cheeks a surprising nice look is summer stroll and wet sand.
you put some wet sand on the apple of the cheeks and then use summer stroll over it and blend, it gives a lovely glow to your cheeks.
the combination of interpersonal attraction and lip lock gives your lips a nice soft pink natural elegance.
if you want a more neutral lips then hot chocolate patted softly over the lippie.

The glass bottom boat gives a lovely pop of color in an unexpected teal-ish green color, but it's subtle enough to not look overdone.

Glass Bottom boat is now a D/C color, which was really nice an greenish.
It's a nice pop of unexpected color, but soft enough to not look over-done and too obvious!

For the fan task, OMG I've tried lots of different combinations with the wonderful EDM products (just because are so versatile and multi-use, love all of them!).
Recently I'm addicted to a Soft Nude Day-look with a touch of glow on the lips and on the eyes.
This because the weather is so Hot and I don't like wear too much make up on the beach or during the day (only by
night I prefer something more "strong").
For this look the perfect duo is served:
1) Email Me Blush + On the Phone Eyeshadow !
When I first tried Email Me Blush I instantly fell in love!
Perfect natural match with my skin for contouring! What a Lovely Surprise!!
I apply it softly under the cheekbones and I feel like the models of the newspapers! With the perfect sunkissed contour!
On the Phone Eyeshadow is pure light on my eyes! I use it also mixed with a clear lipgloss on the lips and a bit to illuminate the cheeks. The touch of glow gives me a healthy look perfect for the beach!
With these 2 products I have the perfect nude make up, it seems there's not make up on my face but.. here it is! The secret is to make out you're not wearing make-up!
I've also found a perfect match for another quick Night Look!
2)Twilight Kiss + Super Smoocher Lippie!
Twilight Kiss is so brilliant and Pigmented that is enough for cover all the lid, and just blended a bit on the crease (I complete the look with a thin line of black eyeliner on the lid and under the eyes, so Dramatic!)
Super Smoocher Lippie gives to all the look a sophisticated mood, with the rich texture perfect for Night out!
Here you are 2 of my favourite latest combo! I love simple things, and I could fill all the page with my ideas but I think is enough LOL
xoxo

Base: In my case, Golden Fair, mixed with Luminizing Sunlight. This allows me to control how glowy and dewy I want to look, plus mellows out any redness.
Blush: Natural Lucent Powder mixed with Theme Park. This creates a glowy pink that is really nice for fair skin like mine.
Eye Primer: Natural Lucent Powder, Wet Sand Lucent Powder, moisturizer, a dab of Vaseline, mixed well to a mousse consistency. That's what I prime my eyes with everyday. It lightens my lids nicely and provides a great base that holds product on all day long!
Crease Color: The quickest eye look after the primer is just to use my Dome Blending Brush in the crease with a subtle mix of Juniper and Wish You Were Here. It's a nice shimmery, brownish, slightly rosy shade. Blend well, of course.
Bronzer/Highlighting Duo: I use a thin application of Summertime Bronzer, blended with Light Pink Lucent Powder just to lighten it up a little. Light Pink alone also gives such nice light above the cheekbones.
Lips: Her Majesty's Secret Service all over, Interpersonal Attraction dabbed on the center gives a pearly finish.
I finish with my current favorite eyeliner I'm Keeping Your CDs, which I don't want to mix because I think it's awesome just the way it is! Then a quick application of an organic mascara, and I'm ready for the day!

Hope you are doing well, I am sorry that have not come to visit EM fan club for a while, as family and live matter, but all good.
My duo, because i am not very good at make up and so i choose to wear light make up.
I use MOVIE NIGHT + MALL PLUNK together alot, so this my DUO, but sometime i use CONTRY SIDE + MOVIE NIGHT. It might seem boring for some people but I kind of love MALL PLUNK. It have a sweet pink tone in.
I love floating leather, it can use with anything, I also love Rock Anthem and i break it with floating leather. make it lighter.
Thanks so much,
Nion

One of my favourites right now is a layer of Champagne Lucent powder on the apples of my cheeks, followed by a fluff of Dusty Miller. You'd think all that sparkle would be obvious, but it's really not - just pretty, light and joyful-looking. Makes me smile!
If I'm on a minimal makeup day but still feel like doing something to wake my eyes up (they often need it, if I've been up during the night with a fractious toddler!), I use Taj Mahal all over my lids and up to my brows to really open up my eyes, then line them with a slightly smudged application of Dreaming Dandy or Emerald Eyeliner. This really makes my eyes pop whilst not being too obvious, and I look far more like I've had a good night's sleep!
Another instant eye-brightener is a light lining of Juniper, then Champagne Lucent applied to the very corner and below the brow arch. Really un-obvious, but instantly wakening.
And now, I should go and put some on. I've had one of those "up all night" nights with a cold-infected little boy and I look like a zombie. ;-)

As far as mixes, I like to use everyday bronzer mixed with wet sand.

There are some colors that are so beautiful all on their own, but when you pair them together the effect is magnified. Cypress and In the Garden are two of those kind of colors. I've happily worn each of them alone and successfully paired with a variety of other colors. However, the two together are one of my favorite pairings of eye shadows for a beautiful, softly-smokey, earthy look.
I like to put In the Garden in the crease and outer corner of the eye and then connect it with a thin line under the bottom lashes, making an outer V. Then I apply Cypress on the main part of lid, slightly overlapping it on In the Garden so that there is no visible line of demarcation. I blend them together where they meet so that it is not possible to see where one color ends and the other begins. Instead, the effect looks like three (not two) colors are harmoniously uniting.
The result of applying In the Garden in the crease and then under the lower lash line, instead of on the top lash line, is literally beautifully eye-opening.
Another pairing I love is adding Wet Sand to either my foundation or my finishing powder for a nice dewy look.

Thanks for the tip, it'll definitely get some frequent use during our cold Scottish winter to remind me of summery times. :-)

For eyes:
1. Hot chocolate (all over lid) and In the Garden (in the crease and applied wet as liner)
2. Emerald Eyeliner and Oasis blended together - gorgeous deep green with gold shimmers. I don't see Emerald Eyeliner on the site now, so perhaps Dreaming Dandy would work.
For cheeks:
1. New mom blended with pink snowflake (as cheek highlight)
2. Sand Cherry and Dusty Miller (for a soft glow)
