Exciting news - the new Roller Ball Travel Sizes are finally here!!
I’ve been developing these super handy, efficient and beautiful little guys for quite some time, and I am so excited to finally share them with all of you. The brand new Roller Balls come in eye shadows and concealers :)
These new applicators are perfect for the gal on the go.

Basically, the little Roller Ball applicator is the perfect size to carry around in your purse when you need a little touch-up, and come in all of your favorite shades.
The girls in the office here just love them, and we refer to them as our travel-size purse friendly products that are really cute! The best part is they are only $4.50 each!
I am just loving the Roller Balls for eyes so much right now... I’m kind of obsessed. But that’s a good thing!

They are convenient, go on even, are the ideal travel size for your purse, good for touch-ups, no mess, and frankly the roller ball is for makeup addicts who want fabulous eye looks quickly. Such a great tool!
Now you can glide, layer and blend your eye shadows using the roll-on applicator.
Pick your shade, twist the top off and lightly glide the pigmented eye shadow across your eyelid until desired effect is achieved.
Here are my application tips for gorgeous eyes in mere seconds!
Step 1: Apply your favorite base eye shadow, lighter shades work well. Glide the shadow on from your lash line to brow bone.
Step 2: Time to contour! Select a darker eye shadow for contouring along the crease. Follow the same gliding motion.
Step 3: For a soft eyeliner look, use the Angled Brow & Liner Brush. To create a dramatic smoky eye, use the Everyday Eye Smudge Brush. With emphasis on your upper lash line, use sweeping strokes starting from the outer corner lash line to apply the eyeliner shade.
Another one of my favorite tips? Your fingertips are marvelous for blending eye shadows and softening liners.
Be sure to check these out!
In addition to the Roller Balls, I am releasing to new eye shadow shades today. So fun!!
Take a peek at Ado To You and Passion Passport.
Ado to You:

Ado To You is like a dazzling trail of earthy golden sparkles, a sumptuous mirage in the Sahara Desert. This will look so fantastic for fall!

So...Regarding everything rolling... First of all I would like to mention Rolls Royce me and my hubby rented for our wedding. It was old enough BUT it was a perfect retro car!!! So glamorous! I like retro! Do not know the number of the model but it looked similar to this one:
The other Rolling thing I am simply crazy about is Poppy Seed Roll
We bake it every Easter! The yammiest thing ever!
But when I cooked it for the first time it was a disaster...
I did not know that the poppy seeds are to be milled and then soaked in sweet water before baking and took the simple poppy seeds, paff paste, made a roll and baked...
The roll was so beautiful when I took it from the oven, but GOSH the poppy seeds, they were simply "unchewable"! But our chickens were happy! They ate it with pleasure!
Good luck and keep on rolling!

The preparation, including grating and cooking the pineapple filling, took hours. After I mixed the dough, I took out the brand new rolling pin (yup, never had one before) to flatten out the dough for the tart base. While my tarts were not perfect, they were still special enough, especially considering that it was my first time baking tarts. The effort was a bit too much for me and I never baked again.
The rolling pin now has a special place in my family. Whenever I start on one of my new projects and start buying things to support my new hobby, my family would tease me and ask if those are going to be "the new rolling pin" a.k.a. an item that I claim I cannot go without but end up using only once.

Well when i was in 9th grade i went to use the girls restroom. It so happens that there was no paper in the dispencer to dry my hands, so they put out a roll of toilet paper instead. The bell rang for the next class and i was such in a hurry that I drooped the toilet paper and it went rolling down outside the restroom. It was sooo embarrassing because i went after the roll to get it right when lots of people were passing by.

I Love this topic!! I love Rollin too, LOL
But The first tought I had about "Rolling" was about a famous Movie Theme!
The title is "Rawhide" and the version I love the Most is Blues Brothers One!
Check it on Youtube!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCRae5mRoRE
And start Singin' !!!
"Rollin rollin rollin
Rollin rollin rollin
Rollin rollin rollin
Rollin rollin rollin
Rollin rollin rollin
Though the streams are swollen
Keep them doggies rolling
Rawhide
Rain and wind and weather
Hell bent for leather
Wishing my girl was by my side
All the things Im missin
Good victuals, love and kissin
Are waiting at the end of my ride"
I love this theme
so "Western"! and the atmosphere of this Song! Only remembering it causes addiction! I can't stop singin!
"Rollin Rollin Rollin!"
~
But I want to say that this topic reminds me something else.
My Mom is a fabolous cook! She've always prepared for me and my sister the most wonderful cakes you've ever tried!
I wanted to be like her and become a good cook! When she was cooking me and my sister watched her with admiration and we always asked to her "Please Mom, Teach Me!"
The first thing I asked her to teach me was cooking her famous "Nutella Roll" !!!
This has always been my favourite cake And also my friends when they went home asked for it!
It's a roll of sponge-cake filled with Nutella (that's a well-known spread nut-cream).
Here's some Pics!
My teacher mum taught me that the secret was the sponge cake, that has to be not too soft (because of the Nutella) and not too dry.
She moistens the sponge with a mixture of Water, Sugar and a sweet liquor called "Strega" (made with more than 70 different herbs).
The quantity of this compound gives flavour to the sponge, but too much could ruin the perfect match with the Nutella flavour.
Also the secret is the perfect rolling: once the cake is out of the oven, remove it from the tray and place it on a wt towel. This way, the cake will stay soft and moist for easy rolling
Now, Here you are the Recipe!
Ingredients:
130 g flour
130 g sugar
1 packet vanillin
50 ml milk
4 eggs, bring to room temperature
1 / 2 packet of yeast
1 jar of Nutella or anything you like! You can use also other creams or marmalade!
icing sugar
Preparation:
Whisk sugar and eggs until dough is foamy, then add the flour, vanilla and milk.
Mix everything up well to remove all lumps. Now add the yeast and pour the dough into a rectangular container lined with baking paper wet and wrung out well.
Bake for 10 minutes at 190 degrees. Remove from the oven and flip the dough on a wet towel being careful not to break. Roll the dough with the cloth immediately to shape into a roll.
Reopen the cloth and spread the Nutella on the whole sheet, then roll it again, obviously without the cloth.
Sprinkle roll with plenty of icing sugar (if you like it
). Serve in slices, after having rested for at least an hour. I keep it in the fridge because I like the flavour of cold Nutella, it's yummi! But it's facultative!
Thanks so Much Carina for this opportunity!
xoxo

I used to live not far from some factories as a kid. We would go play in the yards, you could do that back then. No one payed attention.
They had these 6 foot tall cable wheels, the kind you see cable and linemen trucks hauling around.
We would steady the wheels, and climb up on them and roll around like lumberjacks.
Yes we fell, as kids do. Yes we got hurt as kids do. No lawsuits, no moms telling us to stay away from dangerous junk yards. We just had the time of our lives playing.
Gosh I miss childhood!

When I think about rolls, I think about .... dinner rolls. I like so much dinner rolls, sweet and not. One of my favourite recipes is about filled salty rolls. I found this recipe on the web and is very good for a dinner with friends, maybe during a match on the tv.
Filled rolls
Ingredients
50g flour
250g milk
50g olive oil
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cube of yeast
1 egg + 1 yolk
filling as you like
directions
In a bowl add the milk, the oil, the egg, the sugar and the yeast. Mix well until the yeast is melted, then add the flour and the salt and knead. Let it rest and rise for an hour or more. After, flatten out the dough with the rolling pin and divide in 3 rectangular parts. On every part add your favourite filling (for example, grilled pepper, capers and black olives or tuna, green olives and tomatos). Close the rectangles sealing the edges, then roll as a snail and let rest for half an hour. After, brush the yolk on the snails, add your favourite spices (for example sesame, poppy seeds...) and cook in the oven at 200°C for about half an hour.
These are two examples of fillings:
Before cooking:
And after coking:
Bon appetit!
My second thought about roll is rock and roll and my first concert. I was 17 and I went to the concert of skid row in florence (in 1991). They look quite strange now
but the singer was really a nice guy!!

back in college, i was one of the head officers for a japan culture-related club and one of the activities we organized was sushi-making. i arrived very late, however, and got stuck with one last seaweed paper they kindly reserved for me. there were a TON of other ingredients left though.
given that sushi are supposed to be this compact-sized rolls, i ended making a sushi roll with a diameter as big as the palm of my hand ;p my friends took great fun calling it THE SUSHI ROLL (yup, all caps), but we had a lot of fun eating it anyway

My first pair of roller skates were when I was 10 , in the late 80's. It was around the time rollerBLADES were getting trendy but they were expensive! Anyway , I had my paper route and even as a kid liked bargains. One day I was making my deliveries and came across a garage sale where the man was selling cute classics white roller skates (figure skate style).
Anyway , I remember trying them on and they were too big but the man selling them was like - oh they fit like a glove. I bought them anyways cause I desperate;y wanted to roll around the 'burb and my mother had already told me rollerblades were too expensive. So I gave him my 5$ ofr whatever they cost and sstuck them in my cart.
I wore them everyday for the rest of the summer but had to wear 2 pairs of my dad's heavy wool socks to make them fit. My parents though I was crazy to wear those heavy socks in the summer heat but I was a loner and my 3 main hobbies had been biking around (alone) , playing in the woods and reading so the skates provided me with another perfect solo activity.
I got back into the roller skates when I was 17 and in my first year of chef school , living in my first apartment. I found a pair of yellow and blue stripped skates that I often wore to school - even on the bus. I'd even wear them to punk shows but at some point that got too anoying so I'd just use 'em for touring around the neighborhood.
A few years later I got another pair (classic whites again but I covered them in red glitter!) my roomate got similar ones she covered in blue glitter and we'd skate around the main square near our place , often late at night. this was several years before the roller derby trend and people weren't used to seeing 20-somethings in clubwear roller skating in downtown Montreal. Our skates were great coversation starter and we ended up making tons of friends that summer.

Well hopefully this isn’t too cheesy, but Kyle and I are rollin’ through life! Today is 7 years that we have been together!!!! It’s amazing how time flies! I’m very thankful to have him in my life. So when I say rollin’, I mean we’re just cruising with our wonderful memories behind us, our smiles in the present, and our mysterious future, waiting to see what unfolds! I still remember that night he asked me to be his girl. It still makes me smile! He is a wonderful man. I’ve been so blessed to have him in my life, loving and supporting me!
And we also "rolled" down South this past weekend for a wonderful camping trip! It was beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing. It was great to get away, even for a few days. It was our first “family” trip! Coda loved swimming in the lake! It is the little things in life that can be the most fun, such as sleeping on the ground (ouch) in a tent with a million blankets! Or watching your crazy dog as he jumps through the water! It was so much fun! I love pictures because they help you remember all those great times together.

The three of us would pile in and slowly start rolling down the hill, gaining speed with laughs and shrieks along the way and gradually coming to a stop at the bottom- with big smiles on our faces racing to the top again! It was so enjoyable, especially since it took their minds off all the things that go into moving to a new place. Plus, it made their first memories there Happy Ones! It's so wonderful how such simple things like a wagon rolling down a hill could bring such enjoyment and lasting memories.

Hallelujah! Okay, so it took a year. He's not the brightest crayon in the box. But he sure does try hard!
I'm so excited. My 3 year old dog can finally do the same tricks (sit, down, and roll over) that all the puppies in training school can do. *Sniff* My baby knows how to make his mommy proud.

The first is being a little girl baking Christmas cookies with my very old-school grandma. She always made two kinds of cut out cookies, one was your basic white sugar cookie, the other was more interesting. She always rolled out these amazing spicy, chewy, sort of lebkuchen cookies. If you don't know what a lebckuhen is, well 1) you're probably not of German heritage and 2) you've been missing out!
Here's sort of what they look like:
Although my gram made them diamond shaped and put a whole almond right in the middle. In the cold Michigan winter, a few lebkuchen and a cup of cocoa keep the winter blues (and chill) far away!
The cookies I'd make with grandma at Christmas though, were all different cut out shapes. Gram always rolled out the dough to the same shape, height, etc... without measuring or having to start over. As Gram's special helper, I always got to pick out the animal shapes we used. We were the only family I know who had Christmas alligator cookies and scottie dog cookies! One we always had to do though, was an adorable horse shape for my grandma. Every year she told me that her father, my great-grandfather would treat her to a special decorated cookie, and she always got a horse with multi-colored sprinkles. So we always made at least one horse that we decorated with colorful sprinkles. I loved hearing all those little stories about gram when she was a girl and to this day, when I make cookies at Christmas, I roll out the dough just like she did and I always make my grammy a horse cookie and decorate it with multi-colored sprinkles.
The other roll I'm thinking of with happy memories is this awesome wooden foot roller massager that I got when I was in college and working two retail jobs to pay my way through. I spent a lot of time on my feet and I'd get home, kick off my horrible pinchy toed shoes and just roll my feet on the wooden roller until they didn't ache any more. It felt like heaven after a day in heels! I still use it from time to time, though I no longer force myself to weary shoes that make my feet hurt.
Because I believe it's true when they say, "If your feet hurt, you hurt everywhere!" BTW... I ADORE the new rollers and the whole look of the website! I can't wait to check it all out! Congrats on the awesome new goodies and design.

. Congratulations on the new site and the travel eye shadows - they both seem fabulous!

Really, my story is about bowling balls rolling down the alley... It was my second date with my now husband, and we'd decided to do something old school so we went to the drive ins (rare in Australia) and bowling. I tried really, really hard to look awesome in the dorky shoes and bowl awesomely to show my prowess, but to no avail. My score was awful, and what's worse, I managed to slip trying to do a super-cool throw. My husband, on the other hand, told me AFTER tripling my score and buying me an ice pack that he was a league bowler... gee thanks for the advance warning! LOL Needless to say, we don't bowl much together now, but he bowled his way into my heart!

Thanks to my daughter I've known the lovely world of EDM and this fan club!
I'm a woman of 49 years old and, till last year, I've never tried Sushi Rolls!
Where I live we Love our traditonal foods, so People don't like too much trying different kind of cuisine, they've a close mind.
But, as I love so Much fresh fish (especially salmon) my daughter convinced me to try sushi! She said it was something delicious and she took me to Kukai (the best Sushi restaurant she tried).
Here a photo from the web, it's a cute place:
She choose a table near the cuisine, that was behind a glass, because she told me I have to SEE the preparation of sushi rolls!
So our sushi arrived. The first thing I said?
"How beautiful are these rolls! What's this green sauce, may I try...?"
And my daughter
"Mom! Stop! It' so spicy! Don't eat it like ketchup!"
And she was right... Wasabi was better that humbug!
She also taught me how to eat sushi perfectly!
Mix some wasabi (a Bit!) with soy sauce, than put a piece of ginger on you roll, dip the roll into the sauce and... Eat it!
My daughter told me that with sushi this is the story: You LOVE it, or you DON'T Love it!
What About Me?
That was Love at the first Taste!
The fish was so fresh! And the Seaweed, I can't imagine it was so delicious!
I came back to Sushi restaurant so many times, I took with me my closest friend and I taught them how to eat sushi!
My favourite?
Calfornia Rolls and Salmon Rolls! I'm a simple person!
I have to try to cook sushi all by myself! Who knows, maybe one day I will become a true Sushi Master!
Kisses!

My story is from childhood. Every Christmas Eve, our family would attend a Moravian Church service called a Lovefeast. Part of the service is passing out coffee and rolls. This particular church was elevated as you went back (know where I'm going?)...somehow I dropped my delicious roll. My family and I couldn't hold back the laughter from watching it roll ALL the way down front!
I haven't lived it down since!

He decided that it was really hard and that he needed more practice.
I decided it was hard too cause I had to hold him up the whole time!

I'm so excited! This new site and new products are absolutely great! And I think that these rollers which contain concealers and eye shadows are GREAT idea
It is small, so we can take it wherever we want. It is great for travelling or when we want to improve our make-up for example in the work, on the party
And now I will write you few words about fun task
Rock&ROLL!
I like a lot of kinds of music but my favourite is rock. My boyfriend also likes rock music so we listen it all the time. One of our favourite band is The Killers from Las Vegas
I hope you know them!
They are absolutely fabolous, and their frontman- Brandon Flowers- also has solo album (I recommend you Crossfire- it is great!). In the last summer we decided to take part in the Coke Live Music Festival in Cracow because of The Killers
They were second time in Poland, but first time as a main star, not a support
And when I'm thinking about this concert, this festival I have so much nice memories...
It was unforgetable night!
We were dancing in the second row for.. ten minutes? The crowd was so crazy that we decided to evacuate a few rows away
We had a great view and a lot space to dance and have fun!
It was my first "big" concert. And one of my favourite bands was playing there
I will never forget it!
And here you can find few videos from Cracow (in polish: Kraków):

ROLLercoaster!
I'm huge fan of amusment parks
Few years ago I was on art camp in Italy, in Lido degli Estensi. One day we had a trip to local amusment park- Mirabilandia (http://www.mirabilandia.it/). I was with my friends. When we saw Katun- few years ago it was the biggest rollercoaster in Mirabilandia - we were thrilled. We were too scared to get on it. We decided to spend all day (about 11 hours) on the diffrent carousels etc. But after few hours, when our time in Mirabilandia was approaching to the end, we decided to "go crazy"! We were so scared, but we've done it! And after one ride on Katun we were so excited! We spend there about 1, maybe 2 hours
(because of very long queues). We were regreting that we decided to get on Katun so late
We were such cowards
there you can find video- you can feel it!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...embedded#! BEAUTY ROLLers
I don't have stories about it, but I really want to present it to you
- hot ROLLers
It is very useful thing
I like it, because it is simple to use, and it is also fast
At the time, when you have rollers on your hair, you can do something else, like doing make-up :-) It creates beautiful curls which are full of volume and sooo shiny
I've got hot rollers which are covered by velor and it is really great idea- my hair are not damaged after I'm using rollers
And curls are also long-lasting!
I checked it on my cousin wedding. I have these hot rollers:
And I really recommend them!
-ROLL-on Lip gloss
Mhmmm
This lip gloss is like memory of the childhood
It was my first cosmetic and I rememeber that it has bubble gum flavour
-Derma ROLLer
It looks scary, but it makes miracles
It is good if you wan't to remove first wrinkles, scars (especially acne-scars) or even cellulite!
You can choose which lenght of needle you will need. In the internet you can find a lot of examples before-after, and the results are really great!
But I think, that you don't need such things ;-) You have flawless face, Carina. I wrote it just in case
It is all what comes to my mind when I'm thinking about ROLL
I hope you like it!

and I would always spend there all day and then come home wet and then I’d always catch a cold.
Unfortunately, a couple of years ago someone decided to build a mall there, and now it’s not possible to go there. It really makes me sad because that was a really nice place to spend your free time in winter. And the best part was that it was for free. Now you have to go to a little ski resort outside town and pay.
P.S the roller ball is amazing. I’ve always wanted to take Wild Flowers with me to school to touch it up (I use it as a crease colour), but I’ve always been afraid that it will get messy. So, thanks!!!

But when thinking of roll, the first thing pop-out of my mind is nothing makeup or sports related, instead, I think of "rolling out"!
I had school bus tour almost every year when I was still in school, the places we went was never fancy, places such as Toronto Zoo, CN Tower, Niagara Falls ... I can still remember the fun time I had with my classmates. After graduation from high school, I enjoyed trips with tour buses. The short-term tour bus trips provided me different perspective for different places. Even though sometimes I feel exhausted, but I ever regret what I had seen and experienced.
The most memorable place (for now) is probably Niagara Falls. I've been to Niagara Falls for many times, it is still the most unforgettable place due to its beauty in different seasons. In summer, you can enjoy the view of the falls and enjoy boat ride; in winter, the frozen water formation is great for photos and you'll see the true beauty of nature. Even during the night time, illumination for the falls is so beautiful that you'll never regret for the stay.
City life is usually busy and everyone is trying to make a living out of it, but sometimes I do feel I don't have a good work-leisure balance. Escaping from everyday life becomes one of the things that I have to do every year. Travel to see different attractions around the world is my ultimate life goal, and my next destination will be Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida!

As you can see it is filled with my beloved brushes! Seriously Carina, I can't thank you enough for having the softest brushes ever!
What you see is what I basically HAVE TO take with me on vacation or when I had early morning classes (minus the itahake since I just got it) I have doubles of some of these brushes so this set is always kept in here so that they are ready to roll when I am.
With the new roll on I can save some space for other stuff!!!

So, to tell the truth, the first story I think of in relation to the prompt is a rollover accident I was involved in two years ago. My car (an SUV) flipped over on the road and skidded down the freeway, but miraculously NONE of us were injured, despite a myriad of ways we could have been. It gave us all a new lease on life to have come so close to death, and the three of us tend to remind each other about the day every year and wish each other a happy anniversary, haha. But I think this is not the kind of story you're thinking about.
I'm seeing stories about roller skates (last time I tried those, in 7th grade, I broke my ankle so badly I had a cast up to my thigh and was in a wheelchair for a month) and rolled food. So here's my story:
When I was young, my mom would pack me lunches, but unlike the other kids, she put Korean food in mine. At an age where all I wanted was to fit in, I had in my lunch box a reminder that I was different from my peers. I remember sitting by myself and eating a simple Korean banchan (loosely translated, a side dish) that was pretty much like a rolled omelet with a toasted seaweed filling. At home, this was one of my favorite dishes, but I remember some girls making fun of me and saying I was eating snails. I had never so much wanted to be "normal" with a bag of Cheetos and a sandwich rather than this food that my mother had so lovingly prepared from scratch. That feeling persisted for a while, and I preferred American food to Korean food for a long time. But especially while I was in college, I learned to love Korean food, and--peculiarly, while I was away from anything Korean--my heritage. And how times have changed: now, if I pack a lunch with Korean food, I have people asking if they could try some, which must look so exotic to them. I'm happy to see that as my own acceptance of my heritage grew, the world around me grew as well.

I'm really excited to try the new Everyday Minerals Roller Ball travel size applicators! I love that they're reusable.
A cool tip for when they empty: wash it out & fill with your favourite fragrance. You can have your own rollerball fragrance applicator!! So versatile!

So, I have been a figure skater for about seven years and in one of the days I was going to fast and my mind went blank ( I simply couldn't remember how to brake) the result? I went straight to a wall and broke my arm!!
This isn't really a funny story but it's the most peculiar thing that happen to me with something that rolls
And after that day I never forgot were the brake on the roller skates is

thirteen point one miles
run for hope and charity
oh boy, my feet hurt!
Ok, so i took some liberty with the first line, but in the South, "miles" is most definitely one syllable
Although longer runs would be much, MUCH easier on say, roller skates, which definitely roll, I prefer to do them on my feet. My preferred weapon of choice is this shoe, the Asics GT-2150:
Once the temperature hits the 100s here in Mississippi, outdoor runs become much harder to come by, and the treadmill becomes the life saver. This bad boy, the Nordic Track C2255, definitely rolls.
My treadmill and I have a love/hate relationship, but (almost) every day I dutifully get on and run away the miles. I'm currently training for the St Jude half marathon. 13.1 miles in December. Right now, I'm averaging about 10 miles a day. This is the insanely cute kilt I am going to run the race in!
Once the run is over, I definitely need something that rolls to calm the aching muscles. This odd thing is called "the stick" - I'm not sure I could survive the day if I didn't roll it over my calves and hamstrings after a long run!
Even though I'm running the race on my feet, it's definitely all of the above mentioned rolling that's going to get me to the finish line!

* when you're caught on fire, you stop, drop, and roll!

Last night, my first potluck opportunity arose with some new friends, and I thought, "Great, I'll make egg rolls!" They're always a favorite. However, I didn't have any of my usual ingredients, like cabbage, for instance! So, instead, here's the recipe I invented. (You can use tofu in place of chicken if you prefer, or omit the protein entirely.)
Moni's "ROLL WITH IT" Eggrolls
Eggroll wraps
Small diced, cooked chicken
Small diced veggies: (I found these all in season and locally grown!)
Eggplants
Green chiles
Onion
Ginger, zested
Garlic, minced
Exciting Spices:
Chili powder
Paprika
Coriander
Salt and Pepper
Soy Sauce
Simply cook the chicken and the veggies in a wok-style pan, season, splash in some soy sauce, but not too much. You want to create a dry-ish mixture to stuff the rolls. Let it cool, then put 1 tablespoon of this mix in the center of the wrap, fold the bottom corner up, fold the side corners in, roll up toward the top, and seal with a dab of water. Then, fry in a thin layer good-quality oil in a pan for a couple minutes each side until golden. Serve with a dipping sauce of your choice.
Well, I should have taken a picture before the potluck. But there's the "After Photo." Believe it or not, I made 26 ROLLS, and there wasn't a single one left. And there were only 8 of us at the table, with a ton of other food. (I only got to eat one myself!)
Oh, and here's my recipe for my sauce I created:
(again using mainly locally grown stuff!
) Moni's "ROLL WITH IT" Dipping Sauce
(Made in a food processor, pureed in this order)
Garlic
Ginger
Green Chiles (like pictured)
Tomato
1 can tomato paste (I know, not local, not in season, it's from a can)
Juice of 1 bitter orange
Honey
Apple cider vinegar
Salt to taste
You can play around to make the sauce as spicy, sweet, or tangy as you like!
So, there you go. That's my ROLL WITH IT meal for my first potluck in a new place with new friends learning all sorts of new things.

My second thought when it comes to rolling is Rock and Roll ! May it be Kiss, Aerosmith or any other rock band, it's just as tasty to me as my strudel;-dp
And finally my life long dream the real old fashioned roller skates. Not inlines, the roller skates that look like Converse shoes with wheels lol But I've never had pair of these. So maybe one day when I'll be old and crazy, I'll get them and I'll be a "rocknroll grandma" baking strudel for my grand children ;-D

when i used to go the fair i would just go on the nice easy rides, always avoiding the weird looking rides. i was persuaded to just try a ride on the roller coaster, and was told it was not scary at all when you were on it.
it was horrible, i couldnt let go of the edge, edms mint color corrector would have been very useful, lol, even my candy floss fell out of my hand during the ride.
the only ride i now go on it is the nice and traditional fun fair carousel.
Velcro rollers
i wanted to get some nice waves in my hair, so put in some velcro rollers, but they simply wouldnt budge, i tried to take them out gently, that didnt work so out of frustration i was pulling them out, surprisingly my hair did not come out all wavy and wonderful.
however, going from rolls that i didnt like to edms new rollers, they look fabulous, adorabe packaging, they are just what you need when you out and about, when you need a quick touch up, no need to carry extras like brushes, makes them such convenient products.

I think your new roller ball travel eyeshadows look amazing! I know they will work wonderfully because all of your products are absolutely beautiful.
When I was a child, my grandmother taught me how to paint. My favorite part of the lessons was when she unrolled her roll of brushes. She had so many beautiful brushes! At the beginning of each lesson, she let me choose one brush, and then she taught me the various techniques you could achieve from the brush. I love this memory because I think it led to my love of makeup and makeup brushes.
Today I have my very own roll of brushes that I have collected over the years, and I think many of them look similar to makeup brushes. I even have some Japanese paint brushes that remind me of your Itahake brush.
Doesn't the paint palette remind you of an eyeshadow palette? It even has a sponge for blending!
I can't wait to try the roller ball eyeshadows!

In May 2008 Macy's rolled into town to personally extend to the PHS Pirates Marching Show Band the elite invitation to perform in the 2009 Macy's TD parade. The whole town was jubilant as it supported its hometown Pride through 18 months of tireless fund-raising to ensure that every member of the band made it to NYC to perform. This was preceded by honors of multiple performances in the Macy's Parade at Universal Studios and parades at both Disneyland and Disney World, as well as performances in other choice shows all over the country, including Hollywood; Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, Hawaii; Kaimuki, Oahu; and the Arizona Copper Bowl. PHS has received repeated wins of the famed John Molinari Award at the San Francisco Italian Heritage Day Parade for Most Outstanding Unit in the parade as well as the Best Band award. PHS has also won the Walnut Festival Twilight Parade King Walnut Award in Walnut Creek, California, for the Most Outstanding Unit an unprecedented 24 times out of the past 27 years.

What makes our band even more special is that it is not just a marching band, but a marching show band, combining groovin' dance moves with impeccable marching skills and competitive music rendition to create stunning visual and audio impact.
On November 26, 2009, clouds rolled into NYC, but didn't rain on our parade. Drums rolled, brass sounded, 22 sets of fiery orange flags twirled. Being the only band (high school or college) chosen from west of Kentucky, the Pride of Pittsburg marched, played, and performed with surpassing radiance and exceeding competence from Central Park West, through Times Square, onto the famous red star at Macy's in Herald Square, sharing the streets with Andrea Bocelli, Cyndi Lauper, and the Radio City Rockettes, among other stars. The momentous NYC parade was followed by exciting excursions to various NY landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, the Museum of Natural History, shopping at Macy's, and a Broadway play, creating many more memories that will roll with the bands' members, family, and friends for a long time to come.

With my parent’s permission and help, I started renting bicycles to teach myself how. I always chose a low seater bicycle, like the picture, only with a shorter type of handlebars. I chose this type, because my feet can reach the ground faster if I needed to stand up and to steady myself whenever I would lose my balance.
Balance was the first thing I worked on. While seated on the bicycle, I would run with my feet, to propel myself and the bicycle forward. After I reach a certain speed, I would raise my feet to place them on the pedals and work on keeping my balance until the bicycle loses its momentum and stops, wherein I would start the process all over again. I got some scrapes in the process, because I would sometimes hit the pedals while running with my feet or when I’m raising them to the pedals, but the sense of accomplishment and confidence afterward felt great. After I was comfortable with keeping my balance, I started working on pedaling while still maintaining my balance, until one day I didn’t need to run with my feet anymore, I didn’t need to worry about balance or about falling (which I never did!), because I finally knew how to ride a bicycle.
I finally knew how to ride a bicycle, and I couldn’t stop grinning and smiling and boasting!
Hahahaha!! It felt FANTASTIC!! (and it only took a month or less!)
Afterward, I taught my younger sisters how to ride the bicycle, too. Our parent’s were soo proud of our accomplishments, that they surprised us with a yellow cruiser, just like the one on the picture below.
Even now, ten years later, the memory of this still makes me grin and smile.
P.S.
I just finished teaching a friend of mine how to ride the bicycle, and my other sister is also in the process of teaching her own friend how to, by using the methods that I taught her with.

Well, they were like that. They didn't have a character on them, and they were white and teal and purple.
Basically, with those kinds of skates you just wear your sneakers and strap them on top!
I was maybe 5 when I had these, but I loved them!
The thing I remember the most about them was the deafening sound they made! They don't roll very much. You kind of drag your feet while walking, lol, and they make this loud, high pitched crunching noise! It's the strangest thing! I don't know how my mother could have stood it, that noise day in and day out.
Eventually I got "big girl" in-line skates. I felt cool, but looking back those weren't as fun!
