Now that the snow is beginning to melt and the flowers are starting to blossom, I am really excited that the warm months of spring are just around the corner.
It's time to bring out the bright patterns, the flirty florals, and the sweet accessories.
Today, I thought I'd take you through a few of my faves for spring, so you can get a sense of what I'll be wearing and possibly get some ideas to inspire your own stylistic choices.
The Spring 2010 RTW collections of Isabel Marant, Etro, and Moschino were three of my favorites.
ISABEL MARANT

From the boho vibe to the rolled shorts paired with feminine blouses, I loved the muted color palette and the great jackets.
ETRO

Love love love the mixing and matching of patterns, from florals to plaids to dots to watercolor, and shades of nude and beige is so on point for spring.
MOSCHINO

If you are aiming for a bold, vibrant look for spring, definitely keep Moschino on your radar. From ruby red cherry prints to oversized flowers and bright, acid colors.. these bold sheaths make an impact.
As much as I admire the big design houses, I love when new up-and-coming designers give their fresh spin on things. I am really crushing on Kimberly Ovitz, ALICE by Temperley, and Trussardi 1911 at the moment.
KIMBERLY OVITZ

I am smitten with her clean and classic design aesthetic with an edgy twist.
ALICE by Temperley

Alice Temperley recently said "I just like making nice clothes" - it is her sweet demeanor and savvy design eye that makes her one of my faves. Love the biker embellishments.
TRUSSARDI 1911

Their spring collection is full of edgy patterns and structural silhouettes - soo good.
When it comes to accessory trends, I am really getting into clogs. I know this is love it or hate it, but I am totally team clogs. Karl the genius started an instant fashion frenzy when he sent clogs down the runway of the Spring 2010 Chanel collection.
Teen Vogue recently named their Must-Have Clogs for Spring, and I scanned a spread in the new Nylon that's crazy for clogs.

Wear them with rolled shorts or a cute mini dress..so into it.
I love Alkemie Jewlery - wear one piece or fifty.

Also, layering a ton of Gemma Redux necklaces makes a glamorous yet disheveled statement.
Love socks with platforms with little dresses and trenches, too. Burberry did it best.
Really really feeling Navajo jewelry..lots of it. Go for Jacquie Aiche's earrings or go authentic with this Navajo Brown Yei Beaded Necklace.
Overall for spring I am definitely going to be wearing lots of fringe, patchwork, bright colors, and florals. I think mixing florals with denim and hints of lace is really fresh, and all paired with stripes. Spring's going to be all about mismatching in a nonchalant, complimentary way.
Lastly, I am loving green for spring. Bring on the green accessories from this Nylon editorial!
When it comes to spring beauty I think bright eyes, dewy skin and grapefruit pink lips. Love using Sea Horse from Carina's spring color set on my eyes, along with the Sparkle Beige Lucent Powder and the Pink Lemonade Lippie.
FUN TASK:
What look are you excited to try for spring that you've never worn before?
I'll pick my favorites and they'll receive a cheery mix of my spring essentials, including Sea Horse eyeshadow and Ettika's Moss Green Leather Knot and Faceted Metal Bead Wrap Bracelet.
'Til next Tuesday,
Love, Taylor

The color of the year is so fresh and bold and as I am usually a wearer of neutrals and darks I am excited to highlight my wardrobe with it:
Here is a fun Marc Jacob's look with turquoise polka dots!:
and a turquoise dress from Forever 21...
my favorites are Derek Lam's turquoise looks from the spring runway show:

Enjoy!

Normally I live in black and would run screaming for the hills from any bold color, but this blog entry has inspired me to find something new. I really like these 3 colorful looks from Proenza Schouler:
The tie dye and bold colors remind me of surf and skate culture in the 80's but seem pretty now.
Also, these 2 dresses (graffiti and shark print) from Unique for Topshop have just the right splash of color mixed with basic white or black and a silhouette that would be flattering on my body type:
Or it could be something as simple as just a new bright nail color like this Essie 80's neon redux in yellow that I'm keen on trying this spring. I think it would look great with a hint of a tan
Once again keep up the great work, I love your fashion insight.

I always tend to stop shopping once the spring clothing comes out because I am not one much for pastels and generally that is all I can seem to find, but I am thrilled to see these bohemian styles out. I think this spring I am going to add more color to my wardrobe

I love that Alkemie cuff, I have been eying it for some time! I am in serious need of some accessory investments, so I am saying accessories. Those look like some greaat options. Love the disheveled bead look too!

I find myself boxed in this comfort zone of what has always worked, classic pieces and whatnot.
I am really wanting to step outside of this comfort zone and take a few risks with my look. I love that bohemian look on everyone else I see it on, I think I will give the Bohem thing a shot this year

I'm taking a lot of inspiration from this photo:
what they're wearing, and also the general mood and attitude.
lots of knee socks, diaphanous, lacy dresses, my mom's vintage doc martens which look like victorian lace up boots, ripped stockings, etc. I don't use much color in my wardrobe as a whole, mostly black, cream, salmon, and white, sometimes with a pop of royal blue or red, hot pink, or purple tights.

For day, these are all on my wishlist:
my spring is still always influenced by that Luella ghost world collection. (and anja!)
i have this photo up in my wardrobe for constant consideration:
the cut of this wang tank makes me die inside, in a good way.
i like low heels for day, i just got a vintage black croc pair about this height.
but when i don't want a heel, i love these wallabeeeees
NIGHT!
I tend to gravitate toward sheer tights (of course those Belenciaga polka dot ones!/backseams) with a bandage skirt and something sparkly with minimal jewelry.
my vintage sequin collection is kind of enormous. currently lusting this dress:
and can't stop wearing this skirt
[img= ]http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_kxjsxlbzFa1qai2y0o1_500.jpg
in terms of shoes, i'm sort of heavily invested in mens shoes. my mom always wore them when i was younger so i grew up wearing them, this trend makes the selection so much wider, which makes me happy.
still not over studs. (and would subsequently STILL kill for that ysllllllll)
aaaaand these topshop beauties.
in terms of jewelry, i'm alllllllllll about white and gold enamel lately.
so that's it! the only thing that remains to be seen is if i will attempt that wang corseted sweater.

I'll get a polka-dot one-piece, similar to the one in Rebecca Taylor's show, but not sleeveless for sure.
As for shoes, I'll go for UGG clog.
The Candice clogs from Frye is also a good choice.
In spring I'll definitely wear bright colors to reflect a new start.

I can't wait to wear this Diane von Frustenberg Romper, the black colored one will go with everything.
The white denim Citizens of Humanity Kelly Boot Cut Jeans, will look great for spring and summer.
This Jennifer Zeuner inital pendent necklace, looks different than anything else i've seen for initial necklaces.

I'm also thinking about trying out some of the cute floral prints that are popping up. I don't wear florals, so maybe this will be the season to give them a try. Maybe pair them with a cute desert shoe...

I'm also eager to try on "The Minx" jean. I'm very picky about the fit of my jeans, and I never could find a pair of ultra skinny jeans that fit just right. I'd usually have to settle for the less-fitted ones when I actually wanted them very fitted in the knees and thigh without making my butt look weird!
Thanks for creating this blog. It's great to see our insight on fashion and other subjects! I can't wait to see what else you came up with for Kasil.

They have different colors and styles check it out:
Those yellow ones rule for spring!!!
I love colors and I don't need spring to spice up my wardrobe, I wear yellow in the middle of winter just because it brightnes my mornings

Hello Taylor, and everyone,
Its autumn here now, just a few days ago. It’s beautiful weather, not too hot, not too cold.
I love it. ^_^ I can go out and do not have to worry about getting burn form strong sun, or cold winter
I love wearing shorts, but mostly I have just in plain color, denim.
And we are going to Thailand again next week. I will definitely find some print shorts, like florals print, and also I would try to find some legging and pants in florals print as well. To go with some singlets top or comfortable materials top.
And also I would love to wear walking shoe in floral print, with my plain short. I do not have any shoes like that yet, have to do a lot of looking, shopping, and negotiating haha.
Thank you,
Nion

LOVE this Spring post of yours, it makes me want to scream GREEN!
I'm SOO looking forward to Spring's warm weather. I can't wait to store away sweaters, parkas, hats, scarves, gloves and all the pieces needed for Chicago winter!!
I've never been a bright colored girl (always a black and white, neutral type), but I wanted to try some funky, vibrant colors for the spring starting with nail polishes!
O.P.I.'s Hong Kong Spring Collection
And cute platform wedge sandals to match my bright colored toes!
Can't wait for most posts from you

I have decided that i will aim for outfits that are out of my comfort zone, usually wear trousers and dresses always in simple designs.
However, i have chosen to wear a more edgy outfit, something i use to avoid because i didnt have the confidence to wear it, bit now i thought who cares what others will say wear something i want
the out fit is as following:
rock tshirt dress
knee high boots
trendy retro bag
and simple jewellery
its so different but i really looking forward to wearing it

I have this See by Chloe dress in printed black but the lighter colorway would really stand out for spring. It is also a nice alternative to florals (which I love and have in spades but want to mix it up):
I would pair this girlie frock with a structured, more masculine schoolboy inspired satchel.
I dream of this Proenza Schouler PS1:
But it is much more realistic that I'll use a vintage Coach number that I scored for a song on ebay.
Or if I need more bagspace, a Balenciaga Day in Black (which is still pricey but not in the PS1-range):
I live in a city and walk most places so I'll likely pair it with comfy but cute purple patent flats by Jimmy Choo.
And if it is a crisp spring morning, I'll top it with a leather hoodie like this one from Mike and Chris:

How r u? hope you are doing great.
The Miss Marisa gift set arrived yesterday. They were wrap in beautiful green paper and packed a cute little recycle box, and included a catalogue from EBBA LOS ANGELES.
I love them, they have beautiful smell.
Thanks again, and take care,
Nion
