Marit Larsen is an awesome singer from Norway, and a favorite new discovery of mine!
I'm not as familiar with artists in Norway but I do know EM has tons of Norwegian fans!!!
So this one's for all our girl friends in that beautiful part of the world!
Marit to me seems like a mixture between Jewel and Dolly Parton - I know that sounds like a strange combo but it's actually really awesome, don't you think?
Her first single “If A Song Could Get Me You” is already a #1 smash in Norway, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. And it's the most played song of all time in Norway!

I can’t even believe that picture of the key next to the new version! Since I already take my music with me where ever I go, I hope the winner will enjoy this amazing technology as much as I do! some more listen to 'Ten Days' and 'Don't Ever'. Those are my other favorites.

It was actually difficult to decide between Travis(which is a band and not just one person) and Adele (British) but I thought that others might like to hear Travis instead. You can always look up Adele as well though. i like 'Chasing Pavements ' and 'Hometown Glory'

I am absolutely in sync with you, Carina! 99 Luft Ballons, has always been my favorite! She will occupy my number 1 spot forever I think. I also would have Grace Jones in 2nd place. I have recently been looking at some of her videos on YouTube wondering where she was touring nowadays.
I listened to Marit and I have a new favorite for my 3rd place singer. She does have a wonderful voice. I see a bright future for her! Thank you for sharing her with us.
