CARINA'S IPOD PICK!
Marit Larsen's Single / If A Song Could Get Me You
Marit Larsen is an awesome singer from Norway, and a favorite new discovery of mine!
I'm not as familiar with artists in Norway but I do know EM has tons of Norwegian fans!!!
So this one's for all our girl friends in that beautiful part of the world!

Marit to me seems like a mixture between Jewel and Dolly Parton - I know that sounds like a strange combo but it's actually really awesome, don't you think?
Her first single “If A Song Could Get Me You” is already a #1 smash in Norway, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. And it's the most played song of all time in Norway!
CONGRATS MARIT ;)
Also check out her brand new video for her song "Under the Surface."
If you want to listen to more of Marit's music check out her cute myspace page here.
She does this really cool thing where she takes cameraphone shots while on the road! It gives you an intimate and fun look into what it's like to be a touring musician!

And you can be friends with her on TWITTER!!!
Thank you Marit for letting Fan Club listen to your single!
Can't wait to chat real soon :)
FUN TASK:
WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 3 INTERNATIONAL SONGS FOR OUR FAN CLUB SUPER MIX!
Here are my top 3 contributions:
1. "99 LUFTBALLONS" - NENA - GERMANY

2. "PULL UP TO THE BUMPER" - GRACE JONES - JAMAICA

3. "IF A SONG COULD GET ME YOU" - MARIT LARSEN - NORWAY

In honor of this super cool single from Marit Larsen, I think these iPod SHUFFLES are perfect!!!
Perfect for you to listen to all your favorite singles!
iPod shuffle now comes in five vibrant colors. I'll be giving away the 2GB version. 500 songs!

To create the world’s smallest music player, we moved the controls from iPod shuffle to the earphone cord.

This makes iPod shuffle smaller than ever, and the controls are right where you can reach them. So when you want to play, pause, or skip to the next tune, you don’t have to fumble for your iPod shuffle — just follow the cord and press a button.
xxxxoooo
Carina
Congrats… kimie Marie, will be receiving the iPod Shuffle!
xxxooo,
Carina

Hello Carina ~ I love those HOT colors for the iPod Shuffle!! I actually have one (an older version) that was given to me as a gift! Mine is pretty small to begin with! I can’t even believe that picture of the key next to the new version! Since I already take my music with me where ever I go, I hope the winner will enjoy this amazing technology as much as I do! Good luck to everyone!

1. Moscas en la casa - Shakira
This song is from back in the day before she became the gigantic superstar she is now. It's about how lonely it can be without your special someone. Here's a youtube link with lyrics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQomxr-vhu8
2. Daydreamer - Adele
Adele is a British songstress who has an absolutely beaaautiful voice. I love this song in particular: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=girXRxJRdu4
3. Fear - Lily Allen (Stonebridge remix)
This song always cracks me up when I hear certain lyrics ("everything is cool as long as Im getting thinner"), but it's a sartorial look at Hollywood. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25wyxBUkNuE

She is absolutely amazing. especially live. It is so hard to only choose one of her songs, so if you want
some more listen to 'Ten Days' and 'Don't Ever'. Those are my other favorites.
Que quelqu'un m'a dit - Carla Bruni. (French)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5t6QYBfnlU0 (This has the french and english translation!)
It's all in French but it is a beautiful song, and her voice is amazing as well.
Love will come through- Travis (scotish)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8FwefQgieY
It was actually difficult to decide between Travis(which is a band and not just one person) and Adele (British) but I thought that others might like to hear Travis instead. You can always look up Adele as well though.
i like 'Chasing Pavements ' and 'Hometown Glory' enjoy the music that I love!
