As you know, I love music... I love discovering new tunes and listening to old faves.
Lately, I’m really into Robyn. She sings with such passion and her beats are undeniable. In my mind, she’s all about female power which is awesome!!

Yes, this is the same Robyn who released the song “Show Me Love” in the late nineties - how crazy!
Robyn’s newer songs are great for working out, getting ready - pretty much any time. The tracks are part futuristic, part soulful and completely danceable.
One of my all-time favorite Robyn songs is “Who’s That Girl”
So fun, right?
Robyn’s releasing her latest album in three parts, Body Talk Pts. 1, 2 and 3. The first part of the album is so amazing!
The first single from this album, “Dancing On My Own,” is achingly beautiful and so heartfelt.

I’m also loving “None of Dem” f/ Royksopp and “Fembot.”
While you’ve been rocking out to those superb Robyn tracks, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of Body Talk Pt. 2 which comes out on September 7!
She’s already released the official music video for “Hang With Me” from Pt. 2, and it’s fantastic! Take a peek at this gem of a song below.

Her songs are catchy, sweet and tough all at the same time! Are any of you already Robyn fans, or are you loving these songs if you’re hearing them for the first time?

FUN TASK:
If you could pick a nineties artist who is a favorite of yours who may have faded into obscurity to have a major comeback, who would you pick? What would their new look/sound be? I’m hoping that you all can walk me down a memory lane of ‘90s music :)
I’ll send a bunch of digital downloads of Body Talk Pt. 1 to some of my favorites!
xoxoxo,
Carina
My favorites are...

I`m not really in to 90s music, I`m a 80s girl, but I would wish that Don Henley would have a comeback-comeback hit again...
I would also wish that Robert Palmer would have a comeback hit but that will never happen... snivel...
But how about Taylor Dayne, now there´s a lady with a voice! Or is she also 80s singer...? Well anyway...

If I had to choose a 90s artist, I would say.... Nirvana. I loved them. Such a tragedy about Kurt Cobain. They really revolutionized Alternative Rock
