SPOT CONCEALING

carina
We all have those days when our skin leaves a lot to be desired. However, spot concealing can go a long way in completely covering up a variety of flaws, from dark spots to broken capillaries and acne. Our concealers refine your complexion naturally, and can also be used to contour and color correct problem areas. Imperfections are eliminated and your skin will look better than ever. We've gathered a few of our favorite tips to master the art of spot concealing, a few of which are quite sneaky - but we promise we won't tell if you won't!

Two of the most important things to remember when it comes to spot concealing are to start with less concealer than you think you need - a little goes a long way, and you can always layer on more later - and to dab, dab, dab! Dabbing the minerals onto your skin is the best way to apply concealer - don't rub it in! A few tips: we like to start by adding a little bit of concealer to our hand, and then swirl our brush into the minerals to grab them for the application. Gently dab the concealer onto problem spots by using a stippling motion, and then using a clean fingertip, dab the area that you applied the pigments to gradually blur the concealer into your skin. Once you've lightly covered all areas needed, apply your foundation as usual for an effortlessly even skin tone.
