I recently attended a rustic, outdoor summer wedding, which was so charming. It was held at a winery that had a ranch and acres of beautiful grounds, with lush foliage and a stream with canoes. There were chandeliers hung from the tree branches, mason jars for refreshing drinks and pastel floral arrangements on every table. It was like a summertime heaven!
I wore a pale violet colored dress, which was breezy and whimsical. In terms of my makeup look, I chose a pretty palette of colors that were light enough for this warm weathered occasion and complemented my outfit. I wanted to share this combination of shades with you, so that you can hopefully be inspiration by it for your upcoming summer weddings!
I wanted to pick a cheek color that was punchy and pretty, and I knew that my new WILD FLOWER HEAVEN shade would be just right. It's a warm pink hue with tones of coral and gold that picked up on my slightly sunkissed skin. Given that my cheek color was a bit vibrant, I wanted to keep my eye shadow selection neutral and earthy, and so I chose to layer A WISE GIRL KISSES and ELEVATE. The first shade is a lovely matte shade with hints of taupe and tan, to highlight my lids and give them a bit of brightness. Then I added on ELEVATE, which has a woodsy sparkle that would be perfect for the occasion. Lastly, I dusted a light layer of my current favorite lucent face powder, WET SAND, to give my skin a dewy, radiant finish. I was wedding-ready in no time!
