Pumpkin pie, Pumkin ale, Pumpkin seeds. We love pumpkins and all things pumpkin, and they are everywhere right now. They are also absolutely amazing for the skin! Pumpkin is an enzyme and an antioxidant, so it naturally exfoliates while protecting you from harmful environmental stressors. So, next time you have a little extra pumpkin puree handy, try this at home mask. Everyone here agreed that it left their skin feeling soft and oh so supple. We used a carving pumpkin to make ours, but any kind of pumpkin will work.
Step 1: Pick a pumpkin, any pumpkin
Step 2: Cook about 2 cups of pumpkin however you wish, puree, mix in the following:
4 tbsp. Plain Yogurt
Touch of Oil (coconut, olive, almond, etc.)
1/2 cup of Natural Exfoliant (Brown sugar, ground nuts, etc.)
Step 3: Slather generously on skin and relax for about 20 minutes or so. Remove with warm washcloth
Step 4: Enjoy smooth skin and figure out what to do with the rest of that pumpkin!
