    • Q: I am looking for a skin tint that will be a nice color but will not make me look red. Will this work? Or would one of your finishing powders be better?
    • A: Hello Samara,

Skin tints have more of a bronze hue. I would actually recommend the Sunlight Finishing Dust since it has yellow in it which conceals redness. We also have samples of all of these products so you can try before you buy. Check it out here: http://www.everydayminerals.com/store/productkit/mineralmakeup/free/ Thank You!

    • Q: Is Cameo a good blush for medium/tan complexions as well? I want a good brightening blush, and find blushes like "all smiles" to have a darkening/almost bronzing effect on my skin. I have a lot of natural underlying ruddiness and don't want to enhance that. Thanks.
    • A: Hello,

The Cameo Blush will work for fair to tan complexions. We also have the blush samples, so you can try before you make a full size purchase. Thank You!

I'm looking for a muted (vs "bright") mauve blush for fair to light skin, as well as a pink based one. Which colors do you recommend?

Also, can you get blush samples in addition to the free 7 piece kit? I had to use all of my kit to find the right foundation color.

      Thanks!

You can try the Primrose blush, the Peony Petal blush, the Tea Rose and Cameo blush through the 7 Piece Sample Kit to see if you like any of these gorgeous shades. Thank You!

  • From Diane at 12/3/2014 7:44 AM
    • Q: I have been trying with no luck to find a blush shade that is similar to the discontinued E-mail Me (which I believe was a mauve?). It was perfect for me, but I am not sure how it would be described to match it up. How would you describe it, and do you currently offer any similar to that?

If not, could you suggest a blush that would look good for a 2C or 4C complexion?

      Thank you!
    • A: Hi Diane,

We currently don't offer any mauve-colored blush similar to the Email Me Blush. You can try the Tea Rose blush - it is a matte slightly warmer baby pink color that will give your cheeks a sheer rosy flush. You can try the shade through our 7 Piece Sample Kit. Thank You!

  • From Kay at 12/10/2014 5:50 AM
    • Q: Are your blushes oil free and noncomedogenic? I break out very easily.
    • A: Hi Kay,

Yes, they are oil free. Non-comedogenic is a term that is used for marketing purposes that refers to ingredients in skin care and beauty products that clog pores. There is not much meaning behind the term. We use ingredients that can be easily pronounced, plant and earth based. We avoid using not so natural ingredients like: mineral oil, paraffin wax, petroleum, dyes, and carmine. You can actually find the list of ingredients for each product under the "Ingredients" tab :)

We always recommend doing a skin patch test to see if your skin is happy with the product, since everyone's skin is different. You can try our blushes through our 7 Piece Custom Sample Kit. Thank You!
