We no longer carry the Intensive base line formula and we are not offering a similar formula at this time. But you may want to try our other formula bases: Matte, Semi-matte, and Jojoba. I have listed a bit more information in regards to these bases here:

Semi-Matte - provides a subtle glow appearance and is formulated for normal to combination skin.
Matte - provides a silky smooth matte finish that is ideal for all skin types.
Jojoba - a satin finish and this is good for all skin types.

    • Q: How do I know if I have cool undertones or not?

Which is better to disguise wrinkles matte, semi matte or jojoba?
    • A: Hello Kris,

You have Cool or Rosy undertones if you have pinkish or soft red complexions. Your skin usually burns first and may take a long time to achieve a tan, if any. If you look at the veins on the underside of your arm, they will appear blue.

I would say Semi Matte or Jojoba would be better in covering fine lines. Thank You!

    • Q: Hi! I have used It Base in Fair in the past. It is a pretty good match to my color, but maybe the slightest bit too light in the summer. What is the equivalent shade in the Jojoba, Semi-Matte, and Matte bases? And which shades would be just a touch darker? Also, My skin tends to have strong pink undertones so I want to avoid adding to that. Which base would you recommend for me? I need pretty good coverage for acne/acne scars and my skin tends to be very oily. I feel like I need to go with the matte base for that reason but I would prefer the most natural finish if it would work for me. Thanks for your help.
    • A: Hello Brandy,

The Fair base has been renamed as 0C Rosy Fair. I would suggest you try the Matte formula as you have a very oily skin. You can try the 0C Rosy Fair through the 7 Piece Sample Kit. 1C Rosy Ivory is a shade darker than the 0C Rosy Fair.

Coverage wise, I would say that the Matte provides better coverage. Some women on the other hand, like the Semi Matte over the Matte and vice versa. However, it really comes down to personal preference :) All of our formulas provide build-able coverage so you can apply your base in several light layers until you reach your desired coverage :) Thank You!

    • Q: What is the coverage of the jojoba foundation in comparison to the semi matte foundation? Is this a more moisturizing formula?
    • A: Hello,

We chose jojoba esters for the Jojoba Base, because it creates a beautiful finish when applied to the skin and it also lasts longer throughout the day when one is wearing it as compared to the Matte or Semi-matte Base. The Semi-Matte offers a soft dewey glow. Thank You!

The actual shade in full size turned out to be darker and more orange than what is pictured here. • Q: Hi,

my skin tone is very light with couperosa that I'd like to conceal. Is the jojoba base shade Alabaster too "rosy" for me? I've tried jojoba Cream before, but it's a bit too dark for me. What is your lightest jojoba base shade that conceals redness? Or would the other base types have more suitable shades for me - I do love jojoba, but could go with semi matte, as well, for the sake of a more suitable shade. Thank you!
    • A: Hi Katherine,

You can try the Alabaster through the 7 Piece Sample Kit to see if this will be your perfect base shade. This is the lightest shade we have with Rosy undertones in the Jojoba base line. You can also try the Mint Color Corrector, it helps neutralize redness on skin. Thank You!

    • Q: Why is the Bare Jojoba not available as a sample? Really, I need some help picking a new base since you no longer carry mine and my cats just dumped my base all over the bathroom floor. I'm 39 years old with oily skin, large pores, brown spots along my jaws from old acne, I still get acne form time to time, and I have wrinkles and dark circles around my eyes. I have brown hair and eyes, I tan easily but try to keep my face out of the sun as much as possible, and I guess I have very slight olive undertones. In the past I have used a little bit of Olive Light semi-matte mixed with Light Medium semi-matte. I've never found the right concealer for my dark eye circles. If I neutralize the circles, the powder exacerbates the wrinkles. I have never really liked the Matte base because it looks and feels too cake-like, but I do like how it evens out my skin tone. But when I wear the semi-matte, even though it doesn't hide the flaws, a lot of times people comment that they envy me that my skin looks great without make-up -- I don't do anything to dissuade them from that idea. I welcome any suggestions. I have the following samples in my cart: Golden Medium 4W Semi-Matte Base, Golden Ivory 1W Semi-Matte Base, Honey Jojoba, and Shell Blanc Jojoba. I want to try Bare Jojoba as my 5th sample, but it's not an option. What should I get for the 5th sample base?

    • Q: I tried a sample pack including the Golden Ivory and the Shell Blanc. The Golden Ivory was a bit too yellow for my skin tone, but the Shell Blanc was a bit too light and pale. Do you have any suggestions for a face powder that could match my skin tone best?
    • A: Hi Brittany,

You can try the 1N Ivory, 2N Light or the Sand through our sample kit to see if any of these shades is your perfect match. Thank You!

    • Q: Hi! I'm delighted with the weightless texture, coverage and perfect matching after applying . But in 15-20 minutes it changes color to darker. What shall I do to avoid darkening?
    • A: Hi Anna,

We do recommend you try lighter shades through the 7 Piece Sample Kit. We'd recommend that you sample the color onto your jawline area. The natural oils in the skin can slightly change the color of a product, which is known as oxidizing, orange to gray tones. A primer is an ideal product to balance this. Thank You!

    • Q: I can wear both 3W golden beige and 4N medium base in semi matte, what jojoba shade should I choose that are closest? Also among the jojoba base: true beige, honey beige, honey, and sand, what the order would be from the lightest to the darkest? It's very hard to tell from the image on the website.
    • A: Hi Li,

You can try the Bare through our 7 Piece Sample kit to see if this is your perfect match.

Here is a bit more information in regards to our Jojoba bases:

ROSY UNDERTONES are for those with pinkish or soft red complexions. Your skin usually burns first and may take a long time to achieve a tan, if any. If you look at the veins on the underside of your arm, they will appear blue.

      ALABASTER
For very fair skin with cool undertones.
      NATURAL IVORY
For fair to light skin with cool undertones.
      NATURAL
For light skin with cool undertones.
      SESAME
For light to medium complexion with cool undertones.
      NATURAL ROSE
For medium skin with cool undertones.

NEUTRAL UNDERTONES are for those with soft beige, a tinge of yellow or pink complexions. Your skin will gradually tan. If you look at the underside of your arm, your veins will appear green and blue.

      CREAM
For fair skin with neutral undertones.
      VANILLA
For fair to light skin with neutral undertones.
      NUDE
For light skin with neutral undertones.
      TRUE BEIGE
For medium skin with neutral undertones.
      HONEY BEIGE
For medium to tan skin with neutral undertones.

GOLDEN UNDERTONES are for those with a yellow or peachy complexion. Your skin tans well and usually does not burn. If you look at the underside of your arm, your veins may have a slight greenish tint if you can even see them at all.

      SHELL BLANC
For fair porcelain skin with warm undertones.
      BARE
For fair to light skin with warm undertones.
      SAND
For light skin with warm undertones.
      HONEY
For medium to tan skin with warm undertones

    • Q: I ordered the 7 piece sample kit of jojoba bases, and had not yet seen the lists of lightest to darkest in each undertone here in the Q&A. I went off of the picture and description of each to choose the samples I wanted. I chose Natural, Nude, True Beige, Honey Beige, and Sand. I have very dry skin with yellow/golden undertones (though my face tends to be reddish, especially in the winter) and am a light medium in color. Sand had the right undertones, but was too light. The Nude sample was the closest out of what I had, it had the right shade of color, but wasn't yellow/golden enough. The only other option for golden undertones is Honey, but I'm concerned it'd be too dark (the golden jojoba base's go from light skin and jump right into medium/tan, with no in between true medium option.)

1.) Is the Honey Jojoba on the lighter end of the medium to tan spectrum?
2.) If yes, when will the samples be stocked for it?
3.) If no, what would you all suggest for me?

Thanks in advance for your time and response!
    • A: Hi Caroline,

Honey Jojoba is a shade darker than the Sand. It is for medium to tan skin with warm undertones. Honey Jojoba base in sample size is currently available through the 7 Piece Sample Kit. Thank You!

    • Q: Hi,
My name is Iza and I love these cosmetics but I'm having difficulty getting my shade I used to be medium Olive but there is no longer one. I have tried medium tan=too dark, 4N=Gray cast on my face, 4w= it also didn't fit made me feel like I was a bit to reddish orange, honey= I like the best but I can look a bit too tan orange. What can I do, I feel like there's nothing out there for me. That includes various other brands as well. Any advice?
    • A: Hi Iza,

Our colorist recommended the 3W Golden Beige and 5W Golden Tan together with a hint of Mint Color Corrector added would be the closest match to Olive Medium. Mineral makeup is ideal for mixing colors, thus creating custom colors, we even sell an empty mixing jar for this popular purpose. It can be found here on this link: https://www.everydayminerals.com/store/big-empty.html . Thank You!
