- Usage Tips
Sprinkle a small amount of mineral powder into the lid. Lightly dip your Foundation, Flat Top or Kabuki brush into the mineral powder. Swirl your brush into the lid, allowing the minerals to diffuse onto your brush. Use sweeping and circular motions with your brush lightly all over face and neck. Apply your mineral base in several light layers, allowing for buildable flawless coverage. Moisturize skin before use.
FromQ: Hi. I love your matte base Olive Medium. It is very hard for me to find my match b/c my skin has very yellow undertones. I'm worried that you guys are discontinuing it. And I'm wondering if there will be any shade comparable? A lot of the new shades are very pink.FromQ: This is the only one that matches my skin perfectly!!! But it is out of stock. I tried the others from the new system and even the 5W golden tan is too pink for my face. Do you guys plan on bringing it back at all?
FromQ: Dear Everyday Minerals,
You have no idea how upset I am to learn that olive medium has been discontinued and/or completely sold out. I have been a loyal customer of EM for years and have not needed to use any other foundation because I found that EM olive medium semi-matt formula matched my skin tone flawlessly. I was disappointed when EM discontinued the original glo formulation of olive medium, however I adjusted to the semi-matt because it still matched my skin tone. I have tried all the other tan based foundations from EM and they simply do not match my skin tone and look un-natural on me.....I really am at a loss now because the alternatives from EM would be a waste of my money. Even getting the free sample kit and paying the postage to Australia is a waste because I know that the alternatives offered by EM are not the same and would not match my skin tone. I feel now that I may as well start looking around for a new product which is so disappointing and I feel that I would be not getting a product that matches the standards of EM. EM what solution to this dilemma can you suggest? Are you going to be bringing in another exact version of olive medium in the future as I am already running low on my foundation and intended to purchase more today?FromQ: Is this foundation shade ever coming back, or is it discontinued forever? I really hope you bring this shade back because it is the perfect olive shade for us mid-tone olive skinned girls. I've tried both 5W Golden Tan and 4N Medium and neither worked for me. 5W was too dark and 4N was too light. If you are not bringing it back, can you at least provide an alternative shade that is a really close or even an exact match? I really don't understand why the Olive Shades were taken out. I feel like your whole shade range is now lacking because of it. It's as if Everyday Minerals has become more mainstream and the whole shade range suffered. You used to have so many shade varieties that catered to many different skin tones. That is exactly what made you guys stand out! You understood that there are nuances in everyone's skin color and your base color varieties really allowed each individual to find their perfect match.
Please bring this shade back and the rest or the Olive Shades as well. Stop becoming like the rest of the generic and boring mineral make-up brands and start being awesome again.FromAsk Your Question
