Q: Would this be used instead of bronzer, or could they be used together? I have a clear complexion, so I don't have a need for foundation. I usually use bronzer to brighten up my natural color, but am curious to try this product and see how it works!
A: It can be used together with bronzer, but it is the perfect substitute for foundation! It gives skin a warm, radiant glow while detracting away from imperfections! Thank you!
Q: I want to try this as I don't like wearing "foundation" in the summer-I have a fairly-light complextion and am confused as to which shade to purchase What shade for lighter skin should be used?. They look so dark-are they more of a bronzer or truly buildable translucent?
A: Hello Mandy,
You can try the Poised to Perfection skin tint through the 7 Piece Sample Kit to see if you like this one. Skin tint is a wonderful product for the skin that range from a soft glow to matte with skin tone shades. It can be worn over your usual foundation base, or all on it's own. It offers a subtle, sheer and translucent tint of color so that the skin is not masked.
Q: Hi! What are the difference between the bronze finishing dust, skin tints, and the bronzers? Thanks!
A: Hi Makenna,
The skin tints are translucent powders, lighter than bronzers. Skin tint is a wonderful product for the skin that range from a soft glow to matte with skin tone shades. It can be worn over your usual foundation base, or all on it's own. It offers a subtle, sheer and translucent tint of color so that the skin is not masked. The Finishing Dusts are worn over your base shade, it will help to give a matte look, keep the shine away throughout the day, and set your makeup to keep it in place. If worn under your base, it will act as a primer to help even skin tone and control oil without drying your skin, helping your makeup apply smoother.
The Bronzed Finishing Dust is used after applying your base so that the skin is not masked. Instead, skin is instantly brightened, radiant, and warm. It is just a translucent tint of color that brings warmth to your face.
The Poised to Perfection Skin Tint resembles a medium base shade and the Calm and Collected Skin Tint resembles a medium/bronze shade. They are darker than the Bronzed Finishing Dust.
Q: I'm very fair with rosy cheeks, and I want to find a powder to use for contouring. Would this be a good thing to use? Is it grey enough? I keep hearing that I need to be sure and get a powder that is matte and cooler / darker than my regular skin tone... Thanks for your help!
A: Hi Julia,
You can try the Lanai in the Sand bronzer - it is recommended for fair skin. Thank You!
Q: I miss the contouring blusher 'Morning Cup'. I'm fair and despite it being a deep cool-toned matte, almost a purple-mauve-y pigment that when applied looked supremely natural and non-makeup-y. it worked so well for my complexion but I haven't found anything like it anywhere even 5-6 years later, ugh!
Is there anything similar to 'Morning Cup' that EM recommends in lieu of?
