
Almost every day of the week, I love experimenting and perfecting vegan recipes for not only myself, but my husband and kids too. This recipe started out with the creative idea of having a family picnic out in our pasture one warm Thursday afternoon. The main “course” was to be delicious no-mess sandwiches. For a fresh take, I experimented a few days before with ingredients as well as measurements and ended up with this satisfying recipe. I hope ya’ll like it too!

My Vegan Pesto Recipe:
- 1/2 cup basil
- 1/4 cup oregano
- 3/4 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup avocado oil
- 1 tbs. maple syrup
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor for 1 minute. Grab a spoon, and whip the yummy pesto out into a clean small jar or bowl. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve on pasta, sandwiches, or homemade pizza!
